Forget the chipped boxes dude.

amd & revo are good and so is jabbasport up in peterborough!

Keep your original air filter, but get a new exhaust system.

Then get a custom remap.

BMC induction kit would be hard as our air filters are at the bottom near the front right wheel. I do not know anyone who has a bmc in a tdi. ask about.

you should get about 107bhp, and about 180lbs torque...

thats good enough i think!

if im wrong, then please peeps correct me :-)
Im always up for being educated!

My mate stuck one on his 105hp 1.9TDi, made a good difference but then it all went belly up and he took mit off.

eBay tuning boxes = poo!!

TDI reamps are def worth the money. More horse, more torque and pretty much the same fuel economy when you drive normally.

The only issue on TDi, and prob not an issue for a 75ps model, is clutches. Whne you're into the 200hp + TDi then clutches don't lst very long!

I reckon that 95-98hp is doble from a map only, exhusts on TDi are hit-n-miss for power gains. Also, Tubo cars don't get much HP incrase (if any) from a CAI, Induction kit or what-not. Its 'Forced' induction so they'll get what they need via the turbo and intercooler (charged cooled).

Using a CAI is pretty much a waste on a Turbo or SC car. Better spent on fueling or IC. TDI in the summer months suffer badly from heat-soak so anyone who wants to reap the benefit of a re-amp should look at tye IC side of their system.

I have a MK 5 1.4 TDI and have made my own induction kit, which when tested with the smoke meter rediced the smoke so it must be flowing more air. I have purchased an box from ebay that although connects into the temp sensor it fools the ecu into delivering more fuel. on the rolling road it added (with the induction kit) 35 bhp. it is also better on fuel and the flat spots have gone. I have added a custom made stainless exhaust which boosted power another 5bhp. the total bhp was 116.3. you can gain a bit more power with a custom programming of the ecu but be warned they smoke like hell
