From experience, I can tell you that dunlop and Falken tyres stretch very well. Most people will fit dunlops for stretch and performance and Falkens for stretch with a little more economy!

For what they are they seem like a good quality wheel. Where abouts where they bought from?
Off topic if the schmidt's on the rear are 17x9 could I get away with still using 205/40/17's I've got? I can swap widths FOC but dont want to fork out for another pair of tyres.

I got them extra cheap
Corrado forum group buy. Had to wait 13 weeks for them
I think they were worth it though

flyfs6 wrote:Thanks for your replies, on 7.5" wide wheels 205/40/17 looks nice. So the same should give a great look/nice stretch on 8.5" wheel. I'll lookout for 195's, but I dont want a mad stretch.
I wonder what size Chris has on his redwood 9n?
i have 205/40/17 on a 8 and 215/40/17 on a 9
iv also ran a 205/40 on a 9

Yep a guy called Paul from Rtec organised it because he wanted a set
It finished many moons ago however you can still buy them on ebay (only 1 set on there in 5x100 et35!) but they are more expensive for wheels alone than what I paid for wheels AND tyres!

I run 205/40-17 Pirelli P-Zero Nero on my 7,5x17 BBS RC's. Great performance tire!
