Hhmm that doesn't sound quite right, that sounds more like 4300k. 8000k should be pretty blue, it can happen where they send you a bulb that emits the wrong temperature.

i will try and get a video or something up of them to show yous, also another question, when fitting the hids into the lights, how did they fix in? as mine dont seem to lock in, they dont trist in like the standards did

you need to put the bulb in the metal holder then it will fit like a normal bulb mate

cheers for the help guys, one last question, does the bulb fit directly intot he metal clip, or do you have to modify it or glue it or something? as i thought the metal clip only held onto the bulb by being sandwiched between the bulb and the wiring block on the back?

you feed the 2 cables through, then push/force the bulb to sit in it!, may cut slightly into the bulb but just move it so it doesnt push as much!

thers a little vid i took last night to show that they do seem to die down to a whiter, standard looking colour, but the video does make them look slightly worse than they actaully look. try skipping through the video to see the changes in colour

They certainly dont look like 8000K?? Mines are much more blue than them and there 6000K! Think u should send them back mate? :?

something may be wrong with the transformers etc give em a bell se what they say

i cant be bothered with the hassle, i bet i will have to take them off, send them back and get the new kit, install that again and find out they arent any different lol, they are the £210 ones from HID's direct as well, and for the price they really dont seem any different to white normal bulbs lol, no better vision and same colour lol

thats crap , i would be major pi55ed off, are they the ones for can bus cars?? which ones do you have kenny?? :? as i want some but are not being done over, someone told me £50 ones off ebay are just as good!

looking at some hids but anyone anypics fitted as how does this fit into the srew in holder it looks like its for lamps with spring holders
