Two bolts under the clips. You then need to pull off the pipe on the left handside, then pull the cover upwards - it will be firm as there is a tight rubber gasket that surround the throttle body.

Thank you Alex I'll have another look.

On page 7 of the VW Radio Beta instructions it says

“It is possible to switch off the traffic announcements permanently by exiting the TP mode”

But omits to mention what exiting the TP mode means. Can anyone tell me which buttons to press to turn off the traffic news permanently?

It seems pressing the FM button while in normal mode turns off the traffic news. The small TP stays in the corner of the screen but the larger TP text below disappears.

With regard to the top cover on the 1.0 litre engine...as Alex pointed out... there are only the two bolts under the round clips holding it on. It is located by two pegs at the back but these just pull out. There are three pipes in total to remove, one at the left side and two at the right.

Does anyone know what the actuator /solenoid/relay sound is when you open the driver’s door?

Could someone remind me how to post a picture and the size it needs to be to appear in the post rather than a link?

Thank you
