Was looking for a FMIC for mine, looked at forge but they only do one for the 1.8 GTI's, so am pritty unsure where else to look for one. Would like to get mine on the rollers in the new year to see what difference the exhaust and remap have had.
PD130 mate. :)

Well i have had my full de-cat back system fitted, and what a difference its made. Feels so much more responsive. Revs nice and freely and sounds rather nice too. Bit of a whistle. Cant wait for all this horrible snow to dissapear so i can open her up abit and see what top ends like. Will get some pics up as soon as i can give her a good clean. Just wondering what the next step should be for some more power. Any ideas guys?

Got it done at DCMS over in burnley mate. Its a full stainless powerflow exhaust with dual tip, from bottom of downpipe to back and cost £260.

Thanks mate, will be good to hear what you think one the roads are clear. Thinking about something like this for mine before I chip it. This is the first car I've ever owned where I've not changed the exhaust...I need to sort that out :)

Yeah deffinatly a good choice. Have had mine remapped and that made it drive totally different, so much more power and response. But like i said, after having the exhaust done, it feels even better again. To be honest though, i would get it remapped before the exhaust. You'll get more for your money.
