mine became a sort of major problem because then the gauge also started to get stuck. It isn't what I'd say an easy fix because I had to do an instrument console adaptation using VAG-COM every time it got stuck and vag-com has to be registered (or cracked :wink: hehe)

I keep hearing this vag com thing mentioned in loads of different threads. What exactly does it do? I dont know if I would use it. Is it worth getting?

sry late reply saw it just now :oops: ... yeah it is quite useful to have vag-com. you can easily detect most problems the car has and therefore saves you money at the repair garage.
