Yeah, I'm jealous mate, that's what it is.
What kinda 1.0 was it though, i did have 4 people in the car though, so that didnt help, hahaa!
But no, i was on the redline, it was never going above that..

lol how do you mean what 1 litre. It was a 5 door with an ALD block. Always was nippy for a 1 litre...never quite understood it but hey lol
Handling in it at that speed was, and probably still is shocking compared to the GTI!

Aye, i meant what type of block. I don't think it'll make much of a difference though!
What are the GTi's like? I've never driven anything with that much power?

Its ok up to about 130, but after that the steering becomes rather light so you have to be somewhat careful, but it still grips the road like a steamin turd lol

Iye GTI's feel solid near top end, I have never had mine off the clock but it was reading 130 on the speedo with plenty still left in it.
The fastest I have been was in a Plane though

ive never braved anyting over 80 in my 1.0
thje roads here are terrible for one thing and so are the police
i wouldnt mind a razz in the 9n3 gti 1.8t's
im pretty sure that would be heaven
