Ditto, on a private road. I was loving / hating it at the same time.

Speedos are never accurate anyway. So you never know really.

haha I can go 90mph in my 1.0mpi and it was slightly down hill as well cos it would have never done it hehe. fu*ken slugish engines I am really looking to get rid of my polo as soon as possible cos it's driving me mad! I NEED A BIGGER ENGINE

Haha nah its an 8v and was on a biiiiiig down hill section which I was already traveling quick anyway... Mate in his passat was pushing me along haha...... But don't advise this as my brakes faded instantly my warning light came on and my car smelt funny definatly never again

I managed 115 on the clocks on my old 1.0. It was a great little car - took ages to get there though!

I think Alex's speedos are all out by a bit.

On my private runway i managed to get 105 out of my 1.0mpi. But that was down hill, and on the redline.

You don't need to go over 100 anyway, after that, you lose your license..
