I'm still lost on what websites to look at to buy things for the car..
Wanting to get the exhaust and the dumpvalve brought pretty soon before other things.
Not sure on what dumpvalve to get either.
Need to get a bit of help or a point in the right direction.
I'm running 215bhp & 294ft/lb

came up with more power first time round but less torque, so had it mapped for torque! & everybody knows torque wins races but everyone seems to play on pub talk bhp! Ooosh! haha

look at http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk for bits and bobs, you can also buy direct from forge & milltek!

some companies like AMD do packages like map and exhaust for x amount etc!
Really not meant to sound rude but how come its only running 215 bhp? i thought that after stage 1 it goes to 210 bhp and after stage two with all upgrades (exhaust, induction kit, intercooler etc) it was 230 ish? Or is that just because you got it mapped for torque and therefore the bhp dropped?

exactly that yes! i wanted more torque than power.

not all cars are the same, so all figures will be different, 210 is a push on a stage one, probably more like 190/200 in reality.

I've heard quite a few things from shark performance and other tuning places, that having a induction kit on the 1.8t isn't a good idea and having a panel filter is much better. Is that correct?
I believe the experts, but wanted others opinions.

Also, what do people think to having Rota grids on a polo gti?
I'm looking for a new set of alloys as at the moment I only have 3 alloys and the cars on axle stands after hitting curb hard.
Any more ideas?

Do they mean an inclosed filter? Like a bmc kit? Because I know normal cone filters can just end up sucking hot air in, but an incloses one will prevent that.

I really want some rotor grids as well :) are you looking at the 17" or 18"? Because the 18" ones are 9J wide and I have no idea if they'd fit as I don't understand wheels much :( XD

I'm looking at 16" & 17". 16x7 or 17x7.5.
Just not sure whether they would suit.

I think they would :) the 17" would look better though. You could ask someone to photoshop them in quickly?
