Just this one...

It fits pretty sweet. I didn't fit it but I think you take the brakelight out and it screws into there somewhere, along with gluing. Pretty sturdy. And you get a bigger brake light.

So of course you can stop faster!

I have the chrome lifters on my car and it's a 2002 model, maybe they are only fitted on SE and above.

Ok then,

By the looks of things Aluminium gas struts come standard on ALL SE and Sport models from new. But E, S, SA/C models didn't have them.

Its a nice looking (and easy) mod to do for people who don't have them though I think you'll agree

Alex, looked up Lupo GTi boot struts. They do list different ones for that model, but it doesn't list them as aluminium, I shall look this up further next week.

Yeah Nelson must be right I have an SE and it has the aluminum struts, my loan polo 1.2 didn't.

Anyone know if I have a 2002 or 2003 car, it has the blue Ve logo in the steering wheel and black polished shiny struts between the front and rear doors - any ideas?

I think the best bet is if you have a rear aero wiper you have 2003 onwards.
The blue logo as a rule appears to be on the 2002 model but is also on some 2003.

Am I right in thinking this?
