Sheeeeeyt. Bad luck with crash man. Like the dude says just stick to your guns. If it genuinely wasn't your fault then it will be proven.

Its a shame its happened just as youve done all that to your car. The splitters really grown on me i think i need one of those. Like he says just stick to your guns and you will be fine. Oh and if your not insured for those lil extras youve put on i would advise takign them off. Just in case they try to be picky.

if you were on the main road and she pulled out of a side road into your path then she doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Yea but she has a witness who says I was speeding. She didn't even see me! She said she could hear me come fast. WTF? And I was speeding all that's broken is the left indicator and the side of the front bumper is a bit cracked... It's p155ing me off. I have to drive a courtesy car for a while though...hope that doesn't get smashed up too by some maniac. I hope it's a new Golf though :D

bad luck on the crash, not sure how they could prove you were speeding even if you were :x

anyhow, first thing I'd do is clear indicators and side repeaters then heat up the bump strips and remove them. then get some all red mk5 rear lights and fit them and some lowering springs.

all that shouldn't cost any more than 150 if you fit the springs yourself. 200 if you don't.

I hit a car in almost exactly the same way a long time ago, and I was speeding.

The law states that it's the responsibilty of the person pulling into oncoming traffic to check that the road is clear. end of story.
If she could hear you coming she shouldn't have pulled out.
all she has done there is show her lack of driving ability.

The damage to both cars will give an estimate of the speed you were traveling at and a decent assesor will be able to work it out.

If it's your mums policy and she has legal cover they'll do there best to make sure they don't have to pay out. don't stress too much. :)
