It's not mate. I think it's just the time of year that's wrong.

Get the TT.
Doing an engine conversion is such a waste of money that you'll never see again.
quite agree. the tt might be driven by estate agents and hairdressers, but just get a nice hairdo!
you can make the tt look so much cooler than anything else.
you get 4wd as well!!!!

Tom mate, ignore the hairdresser comments (even though you may look like one

)
TT's are nice cars, and fairly rapid. I've been in a remapped 180 and even that felt quick!! I did consider one myself a year back but have changed my mind - no suprise there.

I'm planning on keeping the GTi and getting a second car which I've narrowed down to 3 now.

haha...i kept trying to narrow things dwn! narrowed it to either a boxster, R32 or TT and the TT is the outright winner
whats your 3?
i wish i could afford to get another car and keep the GTI but i cant really

My 3 are the MK5 R32, new A3 2.0TDi S-Line or the new S3
I think petrol might win over diesel. They might give better mpg but they just don't sound the same!

21 and work for the waterboard, earn a fair bit more than my basic wage though
The secret is.... Barclays
The way I look at it is, it's just like financing a brand new car just at a much cheaper rate!
