Kenny - No exhaust - no stage two... its partly about EGTs.. (exhaust gas temps).. and back pressure...it simply wont really work... if it all cant breath and gets all hot and bothered making more boost will just make less power... its pointless without the mods....

Harnz - each car with mods is different.... each stage 2 and 3 are custom written for the car. Stage 2 with full turbo back exhaust and intake mods can see 220-230.. Stage 3 - too many variations to quote any useful power figures.

Power - every day customers ask me "How much power?" and of course this matters - but when we go back on the road with good software they dont care so much... because the car is fast and strong.. and not with dangerous boost levels.

But kenny if you want to run something that isnt safe then that is fine but you must sign disclaimer then we make lots more POWER... much more is available from your car but you experience problems like LIMP once or twice (or more) a week, but when no limp then 230-240 easily achievable. BUT limp is no fun.

At the end of the day I can do what you want but thats not always recommended. "normal" stage 2 of the shelf stuff - well its easy to make better than that ;-)

Also remember - who says what hardware requirements are for stage 1 2 and 3 ??? Stage 1 is easy - standard car and remap/chip, stage 2 ????????? stage 3 ???????.

That is why we look at each car differently, customers have different mods and different requirements - so we try to meet these as best we can :-)

Tomorrow I play some more with my K04-001 Polo..... hehehe

more bhp - i see what your saying about generic maps made by big companys, but i dont think you can really be belittling the big companys such as APR, Custom Code and Superchips, they after all are going to of put a hell of a lot more money in to development and research than a smaller self mapping firm like yourselves

im sure you get similar results in performance, but im also sure if compared in every detail there will be a difference in the software

i once went with a small firm offering custom remapping on an older car (206 GTi-HDi) and it goosed the engine, i ended up having to sell it and move on, which i was gutted about as it was my pride and joy :(

however, im not doubting your work is good, just saying, big name companys are big for a reason, successful work and results time after time

Jeff I dont belittle the BIG companies at all... many offer good off the shelf software....

I love the BIG companies... they make my job easier :-)

If you compare every detail then sure you will find a difference in the software... but it is the other way round than you think....

I dont get S**t software like some other small (or large for that matter) independents, I dont attempt to write it myself like some other small companies...

I source the very best available.

What I try to do is offer customers another alternative, that is better priced with same or often better performance... I can do this by missing out the middleman ie. the franchise bit and keeping overheads down and not being greedy.

Luckily for me (and my customers) some people can see past expensive marketing ;-)

Jeff - I only piped up because you specifically asked a question about my software to whitepolo...

ok mate cool, im not getting at you and im sure your work is indeed top notch, i dont doubt your quality, just seemed a little cocky with it saying you can offer better than bigger franchises, but thats business, and those who make the effort win, so good on you

as for asking questions, that was harnz and kenny mate, not me ;)
