Are you able to generate a new abs long code for the esp component code M60EC1 from the vin number and all the other information your required for polo 6r? I will be so glad if you can.

I'll give it a few gos. I'll need a full autoscan and the brake diameter sizes etc et. But I can't guarantee I'll find one that works since it's a difficult and time consuming job.

Thank you , I will really appreciate that . Here's the vin aavzzz1kz9u009184, front discs-312, rear discs- 282. Right hand drive, hatch back, engine code bwa- 2litre fsi, 2009 mark 5 golf gti. I am going to try and figure out how to upload the autoscan.

Unbelievable when logging in with the lap top it's rejecting the log in info. Won't the administrators be able to email it to you.

Hi Iichel, once again thank you very much for all.your help, I really appreciate it. The last abs long code on your list beginning with the numbers 163 was accepted. I tried the first and then the second , which were rejected ,so i jumped to the last one on the list which was accepted. After the code was accepted, I left the guy to perform the basic settings with his official vw tool, but he tells me the abs and traction control lights on the instrument cluster won't switch off. He says he is having trouble with the fault code 01486 ( esp system function test), which he cant get rid of.

if you have someone with an official VW tool they can retreive the correct code using SVM
also you could try to play around with byte 6, change it to i.e. 08 and byte 14 to 10
additionally you could try byte 16 bit 4.

and if that doesn't work out... then we see again.
