finally got some pics working so i thought i'd post wot i have been up 2! well as i have been using the car a little more, the engine bay became a right mess:
so i decided that it needed a clean! plus needed to show off my new mod!

all nice and clean! u could eat ur dinner off it!
really pleased with the outcome! well worth the hassel! to get it fitted, i had to make some bolts that would hold onto the origional studs! (we couldn't get the studs out which was the first plan!)
i got a couple of weeks off atm so should be spending some quiality time with her, getting her ready! wot u all think?

(save hassle n those bolts don't look too healthy

Looking very sweet- I've given up cleaning under my bonnet as I do so many miles it just ends up getting dirty again!

i no i keep bringing this topic up again and agian, but thought a good idea so people can keep up with the development of my car! i've nearly had her about a year now and still enjoy here! mods are starting to kick in now, wot with the better weather n all, i have now finally fitted some new brakes!

(bout bloomin time i hear u say) n wot about the springs? well haven't got round to them yet, gotta get her through the MOT n then hopefully will be doing the other bits after that! n e way, here r some pics!
from this:

oo nasty, brakes really did need a service, the old pads had not worn evenly as parts were a bit seezed!
to this:

note the lack of caliper paint, never got round to that, run out of time! as always
really pleased, gonna take time to bed in, they reckon bout 200miles (thats gonna take ages!!)
n e comments?

while you've got the breaks there. Is it much of a hastle or does it make much of a difference if you change the disks and callipers to better ones? Or is it just the servo that's making hte breaking crap ?

i have heard of many ways u can change the disks and calipers for different ones! i didn't want to bother with this as for the engine size! worth looking through the forum about the brakes instead of opening another thread!
try ur mates, the whole halfords members discount is a bit difficult at the moment, to many discounts being given out to friends! worth a try (but u don't no me lol)
