It is possible to set in the eeprom, but this is dependent on the ECU controller.
I have enabled this, but this doesn't work on my 1.4 85ps ECU from 2011. I know people with Golf MK5 who changed the ECU for newest to make it work.. (with Scirocco '15 instrument cluster).

But I can't found any information about ECU to engine in my 6R..
So, have you modified your IC eeprom? How?

No, not me. Check your email ;)

When I changed my instrument cluster, I had warning light of washer fluid sensor, and my acquaintance disabled this option in my IC (because I don't have this sensor yet).
He tried to enable speed on display, but this don't work in my 6R.

So maybe Polo 6R WRC has other engine controller. But for now, I have only 1.4 85ps.. :D

True, but the washer fluid sensor light is simply a VCDS setting. Modifying the EEPROM is not so easy

Yeap, but in VCDS some things can't be change, for example "needle sweep" in some ICs can't be enabled..

But it is possible by eeprom. In this way I had "staging" on my old 6R0920860H IC ;)

Just a little update.

I sold my Polo to new owner(for his wife), he called me in less than 24 hours a few times to thank me, that car is really great.

In the next few hours I'm taking delivery of VW Golf 2.0TDI DSG Highline, all spec up :) from Vienna leather, bi-xenon, ACC, panoramic sunroof, webasto, LED tail lights, oryx white color, Durban ALU wheels, Discover PRO,...

Will post a few pictures of my new ride :)
