g40 suspension onto mk2 breadvan??

ive got a 88 1.3cl breadvan, id like to improve its suspension /handeling without spending a fortune

i was wondering if say some 2nd parts from a g40 would fit , like springs,dampers ,front arb etc

any suggestions

springs yes. youll have to get new dampers as once you take them off they have to be replaced (original ones anyway) Im fairly sure the arb is the same but you could get powerflex bushes for it or one of those kits from germany thats near the top of the list of topics in the mk3 section.

Rear axle as well, if you feel like going the whole way.. it has a built in ARB, should tighten things up a bit. G40 front springs are lowered, I think by 40mm or so, so they should help. As gareth said, you will need new dampers as the original wet dampers aren't reusable.. but if you're going to all the hassle of taking the front suspension apart you're going to want to do that anyway to save doing it all again later.

i think the G40 ones are 20mm lower, it will deffo improve the handling, even if its jus the springs and dampers, as they are produced to handle more power! :D
