High-Res images of VW's new range

Post by Si_GTi »

As found at the excellent dieselstation.com, high resolution (1600x1200) images of the latest VW models to be found in a showroom near you, now (Golf GTI) or soon!

Golf GTI

Bora/Jetta

Passat

Beetle Ragster Concept

Enjoy! The Passat looks really really good in black IMO  and you probably all know what I reckon to the new Golf GTI :D

Cheers

That's a rather nice resource. I wish I knew where those images are coming from... They're not on the UK press site (yet) and, as far as I can tell, they aren't on the US press site either. vwvortex keep getting the scoop on us and it's not funny.

Anyway, as an aside, I can't help but think that the Civic Si concept is exceedingly nice. It gives a good feel for the front end of the imminent next-gen civic. We've also had a good view of the rear end (wide, angular horizontal clusters) from the spy shots. I hate to say it, but I've got good expectations for the new civic...

Deek.

To be honest I've no idea where the original pics are from, I just check up on the website, and it's linked forum (link from main page), regularly for the latest high-res pics. Wierd that these images are out before VW have "officially" got them though... and yes, the Civic Si concept shows great promise for the forthcoming next-gen Civic 8) roll on Type-R!

Found this linked in the forums on that site:

Also, found this:
QUOTE (clarkma5 @ Feb 18 2005, 04:50 PM)
All rumors indicate that the next-gen Polo will come to the US, and may eventually underpin the new New Beetle.

I have seen a few Polos here in Tampa, meaning it was testing at that facility, so that may in fact be true.
Hmmm, interesting....
Think of the aftermarket options that would open up!!

i think it may finally be big enough for them.... unless they're actually getting the Fox (may make sense, what with it being put together in mexico or whatever)

i'll tell me folks to keep an eye out when they go for a floridian visit next month (dunno how close tampa is to jacksonville, but might be enough)
