Firing order

Post by oldoaktree »

My son has been tinkering with his plug leads and the car will not start.
Can anyone inform me of the firing order and which cylinder is No.1 looking from the front of the car. Is it the left or right nearest the distributor?

number 1 is at the cambelt end and the firing order is 1-3-4-2 ,the position of number 1 on the dist. cap should be marked on the distributor ,if it helps the rotor arm rotates anti-clockwise.
