Standard headunit beta connecting an amp

Hi all, I have a standard beta headunit in my 6n2 polo and just recently added a single slot cd player. I want to add rear 6x9s and preferbly an amp. I was just wondering is it possible to add an amp to the beta headunit if so whats the best way of doing it. Thankyou for all replies.
