Hi all,
I'm new to the mk4 polo scene... although I have 2 other polos... mk2 and mk3!
I have a 97 1.4 16v in satin silver met of which I'll post some pictures up soon!
But I wanted to know are they supposed to have rear discs or drums?
I look forward to posting on here and meeting some of you soon!

In the UK some had drums, some had brakes. I believe the early ones had drums, but who knows.
Welcome!

Just to correct Speedlaw, all MK4 Polos had rear brakes, some had discs, some had drums!
(tongue firmly in cheek! :p)

Yep, only the few last few had rear discs. Mines a 99T and has drums. When I was looking I saw one with dics, it was on a V plate.
