Removing door panels?
Hi i have a remote central locking kit i want to install into my mk4. Can any1 help me by telling me how to remove the door panels?
Its dead easy.
1. Unscrew the door pin covers.
2.Thin you've got to pop the mirror interior covers off by using a flat head screwdriver and prising them off.
3. Then you have to prise the handle cover off using a flat head screwdriver.
4.Once youve got it off you can then unscrew the 2 screws behind the cover
5.On the drivers side youll then have to remove the electric mirror switch by prising it out using a screwdriver and disconnecting the plug
6.Then you have to pull the card off, do this slowly so that you dont break any of the clips, these clips are located all around the card.
Hope this helps.

an easier way is to pull the card off, then disconnect the cable from the inside once that's done. saves any damage to the electric mirror switch, and is easier to do.rob_polo wrote:
