Halfords Engine Paint Spray

Post by PhilGTi »

With my RS4's having quite big gaps you can see quite alot of the rear drums. Firstly i decided to paint straight over the rust etc with hammerite silver, when the wheel was back on they looked dreadful!! Popped down to halfords toget some new black hammerite and noticed a spray on satin/matt finish high temperature spray.

Sanded the drums right down so they were shiny. Not a spot of rust in sight, then i cleaned and prepped them. Was a little nervious of this spray as halfords stuff tends to be s**t but here is the final result after 2 coats!

What ya recon? Pretty nice i think. Would defo recommend the spray! Might not last along as the paint on version but is 10 times more effective!
