Hello everyone.
I was wondering if anyone could help me?
I am thinking of getting a new performance exhaust and an induction kit for my 1996 1.4L, but I was told that putting a nex exhaust on it will ruin the engine as it will draw to much through it. Is this true?
Also does anyone know how to remove the manual window winders from the rear doors?
Thanks for all your help
Luke

Hi Luke and welcome to the site.
I am pretty sure that fitting an aftermarket exhaust and a proper quality filter will not damage the engine. It *may* wear somewhat faster (as the filter won't filter out as much dirt as the OE part will, but I doubt that you'd know the difference.
I didn't bother with either, as the gains are minimal.
HTH!

The winder is made up of a plastic ring thing, and the handle. (you follow?) And so pull the ring thing (at the bottom of the winder, touching the door) away from the handle - the ring will clip into position. Also does anyone know how to remove the manual window winders from the rear doors?
Say the winder is pointing upwards, you pull the ring down, and then simply pull the whole thing off the door. Id take a pic if i had a camera...
Re-fitting is the reverse of removal!
Hope that helps
