BMC CDA FILTER

I have bought a BMC CDA filter with the samco hose for my POLO GTI (in the post) but need to know if i need a crank case oil breather filter ? and also what size it needs to be ? Any help appreciated

I posted a question about this a couple of days ago, but I think its 16mm from looking at various websites. Would have to measure to make sure (but a jubilee clip should hold it in place)

If someone wants to give me a tenner you can have my bmc crankcase filter which i got with my set! never used it at all!

Its 16mm internal and 25 external the original oil breather pipe just squeezes over the filter! but i dont like these thats why ive got a total diff set up! loadsa samco and forge bits!
