Recaro Front Seats...is it possible

Post by Randall »

Hi All,

Was having some ideas this morning but need some help n adivce...

Say i got hold of some recaros and wanted them to be heated

1. what would i need to have the heated seats?
2. what would i seat seat bracket wise? heard these are different from polo
3. would the recaro front seats fit side by side (3 dr polo 6n2)

Cheers

ok if you get mk3 golf recaros, some of these were heated, they have heated elements under the material and above the padding. Take a look underneath the seat as there will be relays and wires there if they are heated. The mk3 golf seats fit straight in the mk4 polo, no problems with them touching each other or anything!!

If you have a set of these you will have to assemble some sort of wiring loom, voltage dependent on how hot you want the seats, there are relays used in the original seats, could use etka to find out part no.s of these.

Hope this helps (a bit!!) :)
