Hi all, i had the 8" wide Borbets fited and the car lowerd 40mm so fort id update it here. I went for the Falken 195/45/14 tyres. I have only lowered the car 40mm so i can still have nights out with mate without the arches eating away at the tyres

the last pic is with the old alloys

Thanx i lowered it 40mm once the springs settle in it will sit just right on those alloys. I cant lower it more becoz that wud mean only i can use the car with 1 pasanger.

nahh

You could lower it loads more an not have a problem!

mines down about i dunno 100,

an it only rarely scrubs on big bumpes

so at say 80, it would be fine!

2 tel u the truth mate i fink ill lev it at 40mm for now but who knows in the near future i myt go for front 60mm all round?!

Thanx the Borbets do suit the car well. I wud luv to lower it mor but im afraid one of the main reasons for not lowerin is the roads in Ilford and Forest Gate!its not just the bumps but the ditches. I am being convinced to go another 20-30mm lower tho....
