Post by s_philp »

My girlfriend has just got herself a 96 Red polo and as wwith most red polos it has started to fade quite badly. I have used t cut on it and is comming up quite well. Is there anything i can now put on it to prevent this happening again.

I normally,
1) T-Cut
2) Colour Restore Red
3) Wax

Because the wax usually has sunlight protection, like suncream for cars hehe which stops it from fading as quick. Although you might need to keep topping it up every few months.

I did my faded golf a couple of months back and still looks good.

and after using a claybar at the weekend i can confirm that this will bring the colour back quite a bit, mates went from dull cream to shiny white.

But my fingers went from nice pink to sore red at the same time.
