long time since my last post, but i have been busy....
i bought my 1.4l off ebay for 450 quid! car was up north (yorkshire), and had sufferd severe rust to the drivers side arch and sill. the guy i bought it from had bought the car brand new from showroom and has all recipets and paperwork! only owner with 70'000 on the clock. BARGAIN!
since owning the car, ive done the following....
16v bumpers
Front bumper smoothed (euro-look)
Flushed tailgate
Smoked Black rear lights
Clear indicators/side repeaters
De-Badged grill (bar style)
De-locked door handles and boot (stop thieving scum)
Cobra cat 1 alarm
Removed side strips
Full Re trim in white leather
6n2 gear knob/gaiter
Polished handbrake leaver
Full audiobahn boot install (its FOOKING Loud!)
Polished rocker cover
Engine cover
Dtm mirrors
Rolled arches (to accomodate 9" wide brocks)
and more to come........ im hoping to get all the bodywork finished over the next couple of weeks and then time for spray job.... as for the colour... i'll leave you all in suspense.....
im hoping to post pictures up later when i find my camera.
