tyre brands

IM gonna get 195/45/15s for my alloys and have a choice of two brands that i can afford. can any1 shed some light on which is a decent brand. Ive got a choice of either Falken ZE-712s or Kumho KU-31s. im more towards kumhos but can any1 recommend one over another?

my mom has kumho's on her mk6 polo, very good tyres, hold the road well and are good in the wet, and have lasted her quite well- think shes almost done 13k and the fronts still have good tread.

personally, ive got uni-royals on mine (rain-sports i think) in 195/45/15s and they are brilliant, best tyres i've had on a car.. so much tread and grip
