is this a deffinet? do they indicators fit aswell?

they certainly look the same, just dont wanna get em & then they dont fit

what kind of wiring has to re-done?

My mate done it to his car.
Its not a straight swap, needs fiddling with.
Theres a similar forum here somewhere about mk5 lights which should answer all your questiions. Flick through a few threads here and see if you can find it.

mk5 headlights are not a straight swap onto a mk4.
