What shocks come originaly with Polo 97 1.4 AEX

What company and are they gas or oil filled?

Erm well actually std shocks are just oil and presume OE equipment isn't branded

but to correct you in some detail Gas on it's own is a pretty poor damping fluid so choice should be

Oil

Or

Oil and Gas

the purpose of the gas addition is to

- stop the oil frothing

- speed up the recovery stroke

and it also firms up the ride adding to the spring rate

Ok, thanks for the answer and the advice.
Could you please tell me what companies makes such shocks (Oil+Gas)?
I am chossing between: Kayaba,Corven and Sachs

I happen to know for sure that Sachs make oil+gas dampers - they are on the latest, and last Renault Clio 182 Trophy.
