Votex Kit Questions

Post by bigdave »

Hi.

I'm new to the forums and after owning my polo for ages (and finally getting some cash together) I've decided to take the plunge and start modifying.

I bought myself a votex kit (w/o spoiler) off eBay and had a few questions:
1) Approximately how much should it cost to get it painted and fitted? I live in north London if anyone knows of any good installers.
2) Will I still be able to keep the mud flaps on the car when the kit's installed or will i have to take them off?

Thanks.

Hiya mate,

The votex kit looks fantastic whe fitted so good choice for a first mod! Have you already got a rear spoiler?

1) You're probably looking at about £300.00 to £500.00 for spraying and fitting, although that would be the lower end of the scale if you know anyone in the business?

2) I'm pretty sure you have to take the mudflaps off. There's just no room for them otherwise.

I still may get the votex kit if I can find another one on the cheap! I like my mudflaps though lol!

:P

I don't think you can have the mud flaps on im afraid but with out them you get that nice rally slag look.

The kit can be fitted diy... just ask 'carmadaaron'.
He done a good job with his.

I'd leave the painting to the pro's though, unless you're really confident/experienced?
