diesel mkIV's

hi i got a mk2 at mo bt a new job has determined its destiny in the not so far away future.

im looking maybe for a mkIV because i want a diesel (work is going to be some miles away). what diesel engines are available??? i no there is a 1.9, are these any good?? insurance??

in general what are the cars like?? (handling, fun to drive etc)

as reliable as previous models??

Ive got a Mk4 1.9 Diesel CL.
Its probably the best car ive owned. Fuel economy is fantastic!
Its a CL so its got elec windows/mirrors, alarm, immob, pas etc

Its no Gti but ive been on a couple of road trips with the car full and it feels brill, not heavy and steers great. Great on the motorway and good at overtaking.

Im actually selling mine due to uni (forced sale) if you're interested.
Insurance isnt much for me and i think theres only the 1.9 available?

yer there is onli a 1.9. think my insurance will be sky high on that tbh. think thats what i will end up goin for though i must say. not going to be buying for at least 2 or 3 months nw a dont think bt i wud b interested if it was still available probably. thanks alot x
