Wheel Refurbishing

Post by ModifiedMadness »

Has anyone taken their GTi Alloys to a company to have them refurbed? If so who was it you trusted with them, I want to get mine done at some point but I want to make sure that I'll get a good job done and most importantly get them back!

Thanks

i dunno how you guys refurb them but i thought id just add that sand blasting them will weaken the structure of your wheels

are you having a laf! all sand blasting will do is remove the paint, and prepare the wheel for powder coating!

-75 to -80mm. speed bumps arnt a problem as long as you go slow, you will get to reconize which bumps are B*stards! i've been running my car this low for a year now and the only damage is a few scrapes on the undertray, you have a nice bar under the cat that takes a few knocks (and chunks out of the road at the polo show!) but apart from that i wouldn't have it any other way. i want to go lower!
