FREE POLO GTI boot struts?

Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me where i can get the 2 struts that hold open the boot door for a Polo GTI?

My girlfriends Polo has 2 black ones, that when the boot is opened, doesn't open all the way up and i'm sick of banging my head against them!

Is it possible to get aluminum ones (like on my Golf, as standard) ?

Is there anywhere cheaper than a stealer?

I think you can get them at www.vwspeed.co.uk Â£15 each for alu

don't get the ones off the MK4 golf they don't fit!
