6N EXHAUST ONTO GTI ??

Does anyone know if a 6n 1.4 16v stainless steel exhaust system will fit a polo GTI (y-reg) ?

The guy selling it says the mounting points are the same but is the diameter the same as the GTI.

Don't want to buy it and it don't fit or makes my car run rough due to the bore sizes being wrong.

Any help appreciated guys.
