Locking nut location

Hi peeps,

I just realised I dont know where my locing nuts for the bbs wheels are kept in the car, just picked my car up on Monday....

Any help peeps

The nuts or the key? If you mean the nuts, I'd have thought they'd be in the wheel?

should be somewhere in the spare wheel well of the boot. if it is misplaced, its usually in the glovebox or ashtray.

As I found out today :lol: If it's the key you're after, lift up the carpet in the boot and you should have a big plastic thing in the middle of the space saver, unclip the strap on the top of it and it'll be in there.

ooops I forgot the alloys use keys and not locking nuts or maybe am sating things wrong.

One question they are individual arent they i.e. any other GTi owner cant use the same key, sorry if this is a stupid question......

Yes and no - there are only five types (key shapes) of VW locking nuts... :)
