I'm new here people. Hello to all the modded babydubs out there. Thought I'd tell you about the good times. Used to own a MkII Coupe S. Modded it with Boge springs and shocks (later changed to Chassis Dynamics) Lower strut brace, Gas flowed head and Schrick 268 cam, Weber, Sebring, BRM Servo, VW MKII calipers and vented discs, rear anti roll bar, electric windows, beesting. Went pretty well 8) . Took it to GTI International (Got meself in C&R Enterprises catalogue too!) did 17.8 on the quarter mile once, went pretty flat after 60 but was ahead of MKII GTi up to 50. -60 was low 8's. Handled ace in the dry but had terrible understeer in wet - even when I was behaving myself  .
Car (Bob) last seen near Southampton about 6 years ago when I sold it (   ). Love to know where he is now.
Will try and get a pic up soon.

Oh BTW MkII's are top. Got a MKIII now and it's nice to be back but it don't cut it.
