MY GEAR STICK PROBLEM HELP PLEEEAAAZZEEE

HELLO PEOPLE GOT A SERIOUS PROBLEM LAST NIGHT I WENT OUT WITH THE BOYS FOUND A CLUB FOUND PARKING BUT GUESS WAT THE CAR WOULD NOT GO IN REVERSE AT ALL NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED IT WOULD NOT GO WE HAD TO FINALLY PUSH IT BACK TO PARK IT. WAS EMBARASSED. NOW IT DOES NOT EVAN GO IN FIFTH GEAR AND THE GEAR STICK IS VERY LOOSE IT WOBBLES ALOT. I NEED UR HELP PEOPLE. PLEEAAAZZZZEEEE

i had a similar problem with my last polo. Turned out to be a broken gear linkage and an easy fix. Hopefully yours is the same and not a problem within the transmission itself

I had this as well in my mk4, cost me about 60-70 pound to get sorted, it was linkage..............

its when the faries that live in your car decide you've not been good enough, they put their patented billy bob false teeth in and chew through various components - apparently the only way to get rid of them and restore peace and happiness to your polo is to keep a puddy cat in your car, faries can't stand the smell of cats widdle
