mk5 front bumper onto a mk4?

I dont think its possible without a lot of chopping.

The headlights, grille, wing fitting, etc would be all different...

Im sure some of the hands on people will be able to tell you in more detail.

absolutley baaaastard of a job,,,i beliveve the chassis legs have to be modified,a lad over my way has mk5 wings,bumper lights grille etc on his mk 1.8t,,,,,looks good but quite a mission.

yup its molded differently, and at the end of the day it would be a waste of resources trying to fit a mk5 bumper to a mk4, you may aswell get an RS mk4 front bumper because they are similiar in style and alot less hassle to fit!

Some guy on this site, cant remember who off the top of my head now, had a front bumper which was a cross between the Mk5 bumper and the Mk4 8V bumper.
My fave bumper so far.

ill get some,,,its a leon cupra R engine,box,ecu etc etc etc,,,quite a machine..its on porka at the minute (well a week or two since,,,ill get some pics)the bumper looks a bit odd imo,,in fact the whole car does but its till in primer and filler,,,leave it with us matey.

Yeah, the smoother curvier lines make it nicer than the Mk5 bumper.
