how the feck do i remove my clocks from the dash?

hope somone can help.....

there should be screws on the underside the dash near the clocks
if you put your hands on the steering wheel then move them forwards you should feel them.i've got the haynes manual lyin round somewhere ill dig it out for u.

there should be two screws either side of the clocks at the top and theres lugs that come out of the clocks at the bottom.
So undo the screws being careful not to lose them down the dash and angle the clocks up and sort of out.

The front binnacle has two screws in the top of it and that also angles out.

all should fit through the steering wheel with precision. :wink:

^^^ thats what i was trying to say lol. (could'nt really describe it well) also i t may depend on the year of the car as the 98> changed the design i think.

are you trying the mk5 dash conversion? as im thinkin about doing the same.

thanks guys....

i will try and remove them tomorrow as its now dark.... lol

as for the mk5 dash conversion.... id like too... but i aint sure how dificult it is... i also have a pre 98 polo.....
