18" rims

i know there is severalposts about 18" wheels but non that suit what i want to do.

i am wanting to get 18" on and also keep my suspension at -35mm without having to alter anything, so idea's on offset plz.

and also the audi rims like whats on andy beard polo, not sure if there 17" or 18" and if its lowered?

The add doesnt tell you what offset the wheels are! I would say the et 36ish is flush with the car. So you prob want something abit higher than that like et40 etc... With the right offset, tyres etc then yeah it should not be problem lowering it 35mm. Aaron should be along to assist very shortly

Yeah just checked Aaron runs et35 so he will beable to help you more. Also do you know the width of the wheels? 7.5" Should be ok but I dunno bout 8" might be too big. Anyway time for me bed!

rob, you've PM'd me before a few months ago about this

i run 18x8" with an offset of et35. Andy's A8s are 8" wide too. hes lowered on coilies, -35mm should be ok.

they're 8X18 and its on coilovers so height adjustment wasn't too much of a problem, not wure what height they are at now though

Aaron just out of intrest do your wheels sit flush with the arches?

i have seen a polo on polo9n.com and it has 18" and is lowered 50mm do you think he has had any other work done or will it be all to do with offset and tyres etc.
