Wires

I've just got myself a sony active sub, model: XS-AW81P5
It didn't come with any wires and I havent got a clue what sort I need

Anybody out there that can help??

Not sure if you've already got any wires and what else you intend to connect to your car, but you need something like this

If it's just like a normal sub/amp combo, then you'll need a set of RCA's and a remote lead, also you'll probably need some power wire.

If that's the cae then buy an amp wiring kit and you should be up and running.

Have you got any pictures of where the wires connect to it?

I have got a pic but dunno how to get it on ere!! lol
Theres two jacks by the word INPUT, one being red (R) and the other white (L)....that any help??! Theres also a bigger one about 3cm x 1cm i think thats for the remote though...it didnt come with that either

Somehow i think i got ripped off!

Nah you didnt get ripped off... they dont come with wires...
I think you need the amp wiring kit...

Red and White will be RCA Cables, there should also be two more, one for power and one for remote, and as Mysteryboy said, you haven't been ripped off mate, my next sub and amp will be Â£900, there's no wires with that, only way you'll get wires is by buying a full package.

I've realised why I couldn't work out how to wire it up!! Theres a part missing, i've got it on order so all should be fine, thanks for your help

It was an adaptor type thing where the live, earth ect. come out of. Should get it on monday
