Alloys selection! Opinions please!

Post by M@Turner »

Well ladies and gents! I think its about time i changed my alloys. My RXII's on my GTi are getting more and more grubby by the day, so either need a refurb or need to be sold on!

I've been looking at getting some 16" alloys to fill the arches a bit more but i've fitted coilovers so can leave it slammed for some 15" ones instead! 8)

Anyways, what are your opinions on these alloys

RXII's 16"

Estoril 15"

Your opinions will be greatly appreciated!

Well if you get the 16" RX2's we would at least have red, black and silver cars with them on

Though the 15"s would look sweet slammed on coilovers. Different as well.

i love estorils when they're polished, plus i think the 15's will sit better, if your not polishing then i'd hav to go with the RX2's

It does seem some what one sided doesn't it! hahaha

Plus points for the estorils is that i've not seen another polo with them on and think they'd be easy to clean and are tasty as Chris says. However the RXII's are 16" and i want bigger alloys. If the prices for them were more even then i think the RXII's would win by a mile!

I hate having to make choices like this! ****

I really like the Estorils, I very nearly bought a set (or at least put a bid on) on the 'Bay once. Would make smart winter wheels IMO!

But for looks the RX2s have it. They just look so smart, although like 13twelve points out they are hard to come by for a good price. Keep looking though matey, they'll show one of these days! Or... you could make a trip sown to London and pop by where Chris lives with a jack and some mates, and put him back on 15"s when he's asleep mwahahahaha :P :D
