Oh no.............crashed my baby

Post by gwbjs »

I feel sick.
Driving home after work and decided to change lanes on a slip road, looked in the mirror, checked my blind spot, indicated then pulled out. Screech then BANG. Some girl had been driving up the inside lane in the pitch black with no lights on!
My door and side skirt are fooked and she's claiming she had her lights on and I didn't see her.........good job she was fit  or else I might have said or done something I might have regretted later. :x
Oh well, need to speak to my insurance as might have a fight on my hands here. Anyone got any idea how much for a new door skin and skirt?

As far as i know the sill is not a part you can buy. As for the door skin, might wanna try the mailorder from VAG parts but I dunno if they do stuff like that.

I don't care how fit she is, if someone did that to me and then lied i would go feckin ape. Hope you get it sorted dude :(

You can buy the replacement skirt to weld in, you can buy any part of the car, even rear quarters. Its going to require cutting the old ones out and replacing them though, which is probs going to cost big money. Other then that i think your f****d :(
