Warning alarm not working

Post by Stocky »

Hey,

My alarm for the seatbelt and when you leave your lights on (or indicator)
has recently stopped working.

Does anyone know what may be the problem??
I thought it might be a fault in the dash cluster but the mechanics reckon they need my car for 2 weeks to fix the problem.
Is it even worth fixing??

Yo

LOL how can they need the car for two weeks to sort that out? Got to be something minor

Maybe a fuse?

i didnt even know the mk4 had a warning buzzer for the seatbelt, lights yeah but not seatbelt. hmm learn something new everyday.
but i'd got out on a limb and say a fuse may need replacing.

I only noticed that yesterday, when I left my indicator on while parked the sidelights on that side of the car say on

Hadn't noticed before!
