Hi
could anyone tell me whether its possible to fit power steering to a mk2 polo 1986? maybe using parts from another model.
cheers
Richard.
Fitting power steering
been asked many a time dude...no way to do it unless you got mega £££ to spend, nothing plug and play.
so just have to get used to it, if you've just got your polo and are a bit shocked by the steering it'll pass pretty quickly, you'll wonded why you ever wanted power steering at all (except maybe when paralell parking

Cheers for the replies.
The car is actually my mother's and because she is in her 70s it is getting more difficult to park. As she has only ever had Polo's getting into a modern car is a bit of shock (servo brakes will need a delicate touch after the Polo)
I drive a Bond Bug (who needs 2 front wheels!)
