help strange steering feel

ok after nearly crashing my car the other night. ( come round a corner and instead of it powering out like it normally does) it tryed to carry on turning round so after regaining it i checked the car in the morning ( i hadnt hit anything)

on checking the car the drivers side wheel had extreme camber and toe in. the wheel was litrally leaning in towards the car at the top and pointing in as if i had turned the wheel that way. and the other one is fine.

the car had a new CV joint 2000 miles ago and was last tracked then aswell.

so i have had the wheel off and checked all the bolts and reset the camber by eye ( still not perfect as i havent got a camber guage or a spirit level. )
i ajusted the tracking by eye aswell ( was that bad not just the normal 3 or 5 mm out this was more like 15-20 mm out so thats set back by eye.

the steering still fells light and squidy tyre pressures are set to 30psi all round. is there anything apart from tracking that i can do to make it less squidgy. as i cant afford to get it done till friday.

also theres a strange clunk type noise when i go over speed bumps comeing from the drivers wheel ( the one causing all the problems) but nothing seems to be hitting anything.
