BAGS OF AIR!

Alright guys. i just had my pedal boxed replaced by a friend of mine. However to access it he had to take the steering wheel and dash out. My airbag light is now on constantly, and he doesnt know why it wont go off. Anyone have any ideas what could of went wrong? cheers

I think this always happens on removal and you need to see mr VW to reset the light

before you go to VW to get the airbag light reset, I would find out if there are any specialist VW garages in your area, as its less than a 10min job but VW will charge you loads.
